A post from Seth Godin - About work and expecting Applause

Got this in the mail box today.

But the reason I post it here, is that I feel I have heard this somewhere before...

Oh!, Someone had said something similar like "Do your work well and don't focus on the results" in a battlefield many eons ago...

Amazing to find connections across thousands of years. Also fits with a lecture I heard on Youtube yesterday from a religious head - Dharma/Good-way-of-life is always same across ages. Just because we are in new/fast age "Be truthful" or the many other tenets do not change.
